Last week, while enjoying a joyful romp across the moors of North Yorkshire, Maisy accidentally fell into a narrow crevice, becoming trapped 21 feet below the surface. Her loving owner, in a state of concern, quickly reached out for help, prompting the call that would bring together a team of 18 passionate rescuers.

Upon arriving at the scene, Tony Heap, the lead incident controller, felt a wave of worry when he saw the precarious hole that held Maisy captive. However, the team’s spirit shone through as several members, who were smaller in stature, eagerly volunteered to assist in the rescue.
